During your stay at the Saint Anton Neurophysiology Center you will permanently have certified Medical Specialists and Subspecialists in Neurology and Neurophysiology; assigned to our service, who remain on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

In the hospitalization area of Saint Anton you will have a permanent team of certified health personnel that is made up of: Medical Specialists and Subspecialists in Neurology and Neurophysiology, an Assigned Physician in charge of the floor, Resident Physicians, Undergraduate Internal Physicians, Chief Floor Nurses, Graduates in Nursing and General Nurses, Nutrition Personnel, Pharmacovigilance and Stretcher-bearers, who remain on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Digital electroencephalogram.- It studies the electrical activity of the brain through a digital analysis of conditions such as epilepsy, paroxysmal disorders, abnormal movements and brain mapping; study that allows a statistical analysis of brain electrical frequencies with graphical representation, according to their amplitude and duration, as well as the application of evoked potentials; with the difference that it analyzes the pathways: visual, auditory and somatosensory.

Video electroencephalography.- Identifies true epileptic seizures, nonepileptic seizures, abnormal movements, etc. Regarding electromyography and neuroconduction, the first examines muscle activity through the introduction of needle electrodes into specific muscles, and the second observes the sensory and motor responses of peripheral nerves through electrical stimuli, allowing the evaluation of the level speed of your reaction.

Trans-surgical neurophysiological monitoring.- It is used to define the location, type and severity of a neurological lesion, providing valuable information to the surgeon, who determines the procedure to follow to avoid future complications. We also have the therapeutic application of botulinum toxin to treat different types of involuntary movements, which require exact identification in the muscles.
